Physical commodities, handled end to end.
Rheinor GmbH is a German trading company for physical commodities. We source from European suppliers and deliver to buyers in Asia and beyond — specification, contract, inspection, documents, customs and freight in one place, under one counterparty.
A short list, verified at source.
We would rather trade a few materials we can check ourselves than offer everything to everyone. Metals are our focus; polymers and chemicals are available on enquiry.
Copper
Cathodes (LME-registered brands), wire rod, granules and clean grades. Our primary market and the material we build supplier relationships around first.
Aluminium, zinc, lead, nickel
Ingots, billets, sows and defined secondary grades, traded against LME reference pricing with an agreed premium.
Steel & iron
Billets, HRC and defined scrap grades to ISRI / European standards, subject to the applicable waste-shipment rules.
Polymers
HDPE, LDPE, PP, PVC and PET in prime and off-grade quality, by resin grade and melt index, ex-European producers.
Industrial chemicals & minerals
Selected non-hazardous, non-restricted products where we can secure a verifiable producer and full documentation.
Ask anyway
Send the specification and destination. If we cannot source it properly and document it, we will tell you straight away rather than pass on someone else's offer.
Six steps, no surprises.
Enquiry & specification
Material, grade, quantity, destination port, delivery window and Incoterm. The more exact the spec, the more useful the offer.
Firm offer
Price basis (exchange reference plus premium, or fixed), quantity tolerance, validity period, load port and origin — in writing.
Contract
Sales contract with Incoterms 2020, payment terms, inspection clause, tolerances and governing law agreed before anything moves.
Independent inspection
Quality and weight verified at load port by an independent surveyor — SGS, Bureau Veritas or an inspector the buyer nominates.
Documents & customs
Bill of lading, packing list, certificate of analysis or mill test certificate, certificate of origin, and export clearance under our own EORI.
Shipment & delivery
Container or breakbulk to the agreed destination, with tracking and document release against the agreed payment instrument.
How we contract.
- Incoterms
- Incoterms® 2020 — FOB, CFR, CIF or DAP, agreed per contract.
- Payment
- Irrevocable letter of credit at sight through a first-class bank, cash against documents, or telegraphic transfer. Terms are agreed per deal and per counterparty.
- Inspection
- Independent, at load port, at the agreed party's cost. The buyer may nominate the surveyor.
- Pricing
- Exchange reference (LME or equivalent) plus an agreed premium, or a fixed price for the offer validity.
- Quantity
- Standard tolerance stated in the contract; partial shipments only where expressly agreed.
- Currency
- EUR or USD.
Sourced in Europe.
We are based in Frankfurt and build our supply side close to home — producers, mills, refineries and licensed processors in Germany, the Benelux countries, Poland and the wider EU. Being in the same time zone, the same legal system and often the same country as the supplier is the whole point: it is what makes a spec check or a plant visit a phone call rather than a project.
Delivered to Asia.
Our target buyers are manufacturers, mills and processors in Malaysia and India, alongside enquiries from the wider Asian market and within the EU. We trade with established industrial end-users and their appointed agents.
- KYC and sanctions screening on both sides of every deal.
- EU and UN restricted-party and embargo checks before contracting.
- Waste-shipment and REACH requirements observed where they apply.
Send us an enquiry.
Tell us the material, the quantity and the destination. We reply to every serious enquiry, usually the same working day.
